Michelle Obama has been pretty quiet publicly since she left the White House in January.

But she’s in the spotlight at the moment, and it all comes down to her strongly worded criticism of a recent decision by the Trump administration.

As you might remember reading, President Donald Trump made the decision to dismantle a healthy eating initiative put in place by the Obamas.

And as you might have expected, Michelle isn’t impressed!

At a public health summit in Washington, Michelle hit back at Trump’s decision – asking him “what’s wrong with you?”.

“This is where you really have to look at motives, you know,” she said, according to Nine News.

“You have to stop and think, why don’t you want our kids to have good food at school?”

She also hit back at the Agriculture Secretary’s defence of the decision – that children didn’t like the food they were being given in schools.

“Well you know what? Kids don’t like math either. What are we gonna do, stop teaching math?” Michelle said.

The Trump administration has made a few controversial moves when it comes to food and nutrition.

They’re also proposing to delay a requirement of nutritional labels on food, like we have here in Australia.

Michelle isn’t happy about that either.

“You don’t need to know what’s in your food,” she said sarcastically.

“You can’t handle that, mom. Just buy this, be quiet, spend your money — don’t ask us about what’s in your food.”

She’s certainly not holding back.

Do you agree with what Michelle Obama had to say?
