Melania wows at White House in skin-tight shift

Blue is her colour.

Melania Trump looked ready for summer as she met the president of Panama yesterday.

The First Lady of the United States bared her toned arms in a sleeveless, skin-tight cornflower blue sheath with double-breasted buttons tracing the outline of her hips.

The former model’s dress screamed elegance while her floral patterned Christian Louboutin heels showed Melania hasn’t lost her sense of whimsy.

She chose to wear her massive diamond engagement ring but otherwise accessorised with minimal jewellery.

The 47-year-old left her locks flowing free as she joined husband Donald in greeting Panama’s President Juan Carlos Varela and his wife, first lady Lorena Castilla as they arrived at the South Portico of the White House.

While most eyes were on Melania, Panama’s first lady also popped in colour, wearing a striking green two-piece ensemble featuring lace sleeves and a lace peplum design which she pared with nude heels.

The two first ladies then posed for photos together before they headed to the Oval Office for Trump and President Varela’s first face-to-face meeting since Trump began his presidency nearly five months ago.

Following the official sit down, Melania took to Twitter.

The president and first lady returned to the White House on Sunday after spending just one night at Camp David with their 11-year-old son, Barron.

Trump has previously criticised the government-owned retreat in Maryland’s Catoctin Mountains and told foreign newspapers earlier this year that Camp David was “very rustic”.

“You know how long you’d like it? For about 30 minutes,” he said.

Trump has made no secret that he’d rather spend his time at his palatial residences in Florida and New Jersey over the wooded hideaway used by many presidents before him.

But it seems he may have changed his tune after he posted this tweet on Sunday:

Do you like Melania’s turn as first lady?
