Telstra has confirmed that customers throughout Australia are experiencing major phone outages.
Customers in a number of states have reported “no service”, and are unable to make phone calls, send text messages or access the internet.
Telstra has confirmed it’s investigating the issue. “We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and thank customers for their patience”, the phone company said online.
Unfortunately, some customers have been left high and dry without mobile communications. One unhappy customer Tweeted, “when can we make calls Telstra some things are urgent?”
Whilst another added, “Telstra what’s going on? No signal in Melbourne CBD. I don’t know what to do!”
