The funniest view of Australia’s politics from the outside 110

To the world outside Australia, what has gone on this week in Australian politics must look pretty darned funny. And a group in Taiwan have made a video that shows just how funny it looks to them.

The video which is made around a revolving door, shows Kevin Rudd being spat out, before jumping back in to try again. Then Julia Gillard is spat out. Then, in a super-funny look, Tony Abbott cycles a tiny bike into the rotating door.

We then get to see Turnbull diving into a sea of money and the Taiwanese explaining the virtues of Australian politics.
Looking back, 5 days on, what do you think? Can you smile about the situation now?

    • Abbotts own actions caused this to happen, some of these Liberal MP’S still have survival instincts

    • Yes but don’t for get the people of Australia voted Tony Abbott in. So at the end of the day the people never voted for Turnbull in he got him self there by the Parliament women, and men. That’s the different.

    • you never voted for Abbott, how old are you ?, we vote for our local candiate and the party, we don’t vote for The Leader unless you are in their electorate

    • We vote for the person in each local candidate, yes so if I like for instance like Liberal I vote that candidate. I am not young. I am old.

    • Sharron Mc Kenzie , Abbott was only voted in, in his elelctorate, the Liberals were voted in thanks to the preferencial votes from the Nationals. Get your facts right woman.

    • David you are wasting your time… many people do not understand how our political system works. Very frustrating I know when people keep saying they voted for Tony Abbott instead of saying they voted for the Liberal Party.

    • Libbi. I agree. Abbott was such an embarrassing, cringeworthy leader. He brought this on himself. May he just fade into the distance and take his onions with him. I am so glad to see the back of him.

    • Sorry I am not so much educated like Christa, and Victoria and don’t talk to me me like that. I never came here to comment, and get rudely talked to by your comments. At the end of the day every one has their own opinions, I didn’t have a go at your comments made just an opinion, of my own. Sorry but that’s what I think, and that’s hpe it stays on the matter.

    • I will write what I want, you seem to be a bully. But at the end of the day no I am not listening to you. Have a great night, go and have a cup of coffee, then go and find some one who cares.

    • Sharon your opinion is important and please keep making your voice heard. It is just that some ppl have a really good understanding of how it all works. Just follow your gut instinct on who to vote for. On this site there can be a bit of argy bargy but keep making a contribution when you see fit.

    • Sharron, I agree with Merran’s comments to you, so keep on contributing to the site. People can get a bit passionate and het up at times, but (believe it or not) it’s not meant to be vindictive and the people are really very nice and caring when you read between the lines. We all learn things from this site, me included. Recently I was called brainless because I put forth a comment which really upset someone. So, keep the comments coming….at least it exercises our brains.

    • Sharyn He did not oust Tony on his own The UN and one worlders were behind it. He was ousted because he did not intend to sign he Treaty of Paris in Dec this year. This treaty commits lots of western countires to endless climate change get out clause. The other PM they want rid of is the PM of Canada..He also did not want to sign this treaty.Turnbull is a hollow man , a puppet.

    • Sharron Mc Kenzie if I left every time I was called names here, I would have gone months ago, people are just trying to explain..cheers 🙂

    • Sharron McKenzie. Just because some of us have been lucky enough to receive a good education does not give us the right to mock or bully others. Please continue to comment on issues that are important to you. We are all Australians and we all have the right to our say and to our opinions.

  5. Well they have sure made us the laughing stock around the world, the sooner they are all gone the better

  6. Tony is more handsome by far
