Court decides Zeppelin didn’t steal song

After months of battling in court Led Zeppelin fans can rejoice as the court that was deciding whether or not they stole the intro of “Stairway to Heaven” has declared that they didn’t!

Jimmy Page and Robert Plant have been fighting the case for a long time that said they stole those iconic sounds from the beginning of their hit song from the 60s band Spirit.  Now that it’s behind them they released a joint statement today stating “We are grateful for the jury’s conscientious service and pleased that it has ruled in our favour, putting to rest questions about the origins of ‘Stairway to Heaven’ and confirming what we have known for 45 years”.

Now there will be no controversy about the song going forward and you are all free to enjoy the brilliant originality of the iconic song.
