Our Community Cares: Income protection

This week, Starts at 60 member Lou wrote to us, asking for some community advice:

I have been looking all around trying to find some sort of income protection or debt payment insurance in the event I take ill and use up my sick leave before returning to work. I am 61 and the ‘don’t come here’ line seems to be 59. Help!
