You don’t have to spend a lot to make your clothes smell great or stay wrinkle-free – you can make a solution at home. This 2-in-1 spray will help cut down on your bills, eliminate overwashing and neutralise odours.

Here’s how.

What you need:

  • 2 tablespoons of white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of cheap hair conditioner
  • 6 to 10 drops of your favourite essential oil or vanilla essence

Pour into a spray bottle and fill the rest with water. Voila! Shake and spray.

  1. I try to buy drip dry clothing and I have a steamer but I will keep that in mind for the few things I do iron

  2. Sounds good but what does the cheap hair conditioner do? But I will give it a go anyway. 🙂

  3. Haven’t they realised by now not to buy things that need ironing? Why waste time doing the ironing when you could be doing something enjoyable.

  4. why are you ironing at all ??? when you buy clothes only buy drip dry, wash on gentel cycle, hang on plastic coat hangers in shade. After they are dry, put back in wardrobe. Too easy
