The older we get, the more we realise that our makeup style needs to change. If we used to use a different lip colour, we’ll notice that the same shades don’t have the same effect anymore. This is because our features change over time and we’ll need different techniques and colours to suit our face and features.

In this video, Hannah Martin teaches her mother-in-law, Sue, simple tips on how to bring back life to the skin while still looking natural and not too done up.

She starts by hydrating the skin with a moisturiser to achieve that natural glow. When the skin is hydrated, it also softens lines.

    • Lovely tutorial. I too, am 61 years of age, and as my 93 year old mother says, I would rather go without a meal than do without my skincare and makeup, it just makes you feel so much better when wearing it, and I always get great comments on how nice my skin looks. By the way Hannah, in Australia, we say forehead the same way you do!

  2. I loved this tutorial…two beautiful ladies!

  3. She looked lovely but I have a question about achieving this yourself…especially around the eyes. Without glasses I can’t see well enough anymore to do the fine stuff. Any tips?

  4. Love it, it will help me with my makeover
