The typical male driver! 132

View Profile

A man was driving when he saw the flash of a traffic camera.

He figured that his picture had been taken for exceeding the limit, even though he knew he was not speeding.

Just to be sure, he went around the block and passed the same spot, driving even more slowly, and again the camera flashed.

Now he began to think that this was quite funny, so he drove even slower as he passed the area again, band the traffic camera again flashed.

He tried a fourth time with the same result, then a fifth time, laughing when the camera flashed as he rolled past, this time at a snail’s pace…

Two weeks later, he got five tickets in the mail for driving without a seat belt.

Life is hard. It’s even harder if you’re stupid.

  1. I recall when it first came in that the police were pulling you up to check licence and breath test you that a young girl I worked with who had never been pulled over decided to go around the block and yes she was fined for not carrying her licence with her…

    • That should not have happened because you are given 24 hours to produce it at your nearest police station!

    • No sorry, I didn’t when I was asked to drive a friends car because she was to sick to drive. The police pulled me up for a problem with the car and asked for my licence and I told him had left my bag at home and was given 24 hours to produce it, no points lost either.

    • The ruling in many places now is you must carry it with you at all times, no longer are you given 24 hours to produce it. SA and the ACT definitely have the new law so I expect is uniform over Australia now.

    • You must carry it at all times but a decent cop will allow you to go to rhe station within 24hrs if you hace a reasonable excuse.
