President Barack Obama is arguably one of the coolest presidents ever. No wonder in the final days of his presidency, his staffers had a bit of fun with the official White House holiday decorations. White House Photographer Pete Souza released some photos of a staffer’s attempt to prank Obama with a set of decorative snowmen currently on display in the Rose Garden, reports Mashable.

“We’ve been joking that we should move the snowmen a few feet closer to the Oval Office every day to see if anyone noticed,” Souza shared on Instagram.

Another snowman from yesterday. Yes he enjoyed the prank. See previous post for the backstory.

“Then we realised the snowmen were too heavy to easily lift. But finally this morning before the President came to the office, some helpful staff—I won’t say who—moved all the snowmen so each one was peeking through a different window into the Oval.”

Obviously the internet would break when things like this happen. Some social media users even Photoshopped the photos and giving them funny captions.

The White House staff pulled a solid prank, as Obama admitted to People earlier this month, snowman decorations freak him out.

“There’s a whole kind of Chucky element to them,” he joked. “They’re a little creepy.”

Some think that this snowman prank on Obama is the last good thing that’ll happen in the White House for a while.

What did you think of this prank? Have you ever pulled a prank on someone?

The more I learn about him, the more I realise that Americans have had a wonderful man as their President for the last 8 years.
It really makes a change from the dour, sulky types of the past like Reagan the Bushs’, and Clinton.
The lack of scandal makes a pleasant change too! He will be missed. Americans won’t realise how much until he has departed the White House.

Yes he was a very likeable man with a great sense of humour. A pity he couldn’t get the gun laws changed but I don’t think they ever will with mind set of the Americans who say they need guns. But he will be missed and look at the buffoon who is taking his place always worried about his image on Twitter. Grow up Trump and start thinking like a predisent. No one will ever like you but maybe you should look at Obama and see how a president should act.

  2. Michael

100% correct! The world will lose a valuable leader also. In his place – you gave chosen an arrogant, ignorant buffoon. Sadly – you will pay.

    • Claire Hancock

Sadly, Michael, the whole WORLD will pay.

    • Joan Marshall

Michael Donald Trump is not a Buffoon he could not be any worse than Hillary Clinton. Hillary is such a corrupt woman and Americans realised it and gave her the trouncing she deserved. The whole world follows America and God saved us from Hillary the two time looser. Hillary is a power hungry money hungry woman. Donald Trump is no Saint but… a Saint in comparison to Hillary. Give the man a chance as a woman I will never side with a woman just because she is a woman.

      • Lyn

Joan Marshall – the whole world does not follow America and America certainly doesn’t know anything about the rest of the World. Your country is so self centered and we will all pay for Trump being President. I just wish he wouldn’t pull such stupid faces.

  3. Couldn’t agree more. Obama had more style, more cool, more decency than any president before him. He let me down on a few issues but Americans had a true statesman in Obama and I think they will live to rue the day they voted for Dumpf.

I am not an American but I think he is the best Pres. You have ever had easy going affable very comfortable with what he does and I love his casual approach to everything when talking to the press of making an address. He has a great sense of humour. If we had a Pres. I would like to think we would have one like Obama. Maybe his time in Australia rubbed off on him. He will be missed and yes now you have a blowhard buffoon for a pres. elect god help America.
