Mariah Carey laments the horrors of fluorescent lighting in her documentary

Singing superstar Mariah Carey has released the trailer for her new documentary to be released by the E! channel later this year.

The documentary, ‘Mariah’s World’ gives fans an insider look into her life, including her romance with Australian billionaire James Packer, and while it may look like a whole lot of flashy lights and sparkly glam, Mariah says her life is a lot harder than people know.

For instance, she has a rule that she cannot be photographed or filmed under fluorescent lighting without sunglasses on.

This means she regularly has to whip her designer sunnies out of her bag so as not to be photographed her under the harsh lights by fans and paparazzi. THE. HORROR.

She also talks about how she is “misunderstood” and is really “like anybody else”.

There is no word yet on whether her fiance James will appear in the doco, but her 10 million dollar 35-carat diamond ring did as she waved it through the air on her perfectly manicured hand.

The eight-part documentary follows Mariah as she prepares for her Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour, which she will take around the world later in the year.

Mariah and James are yet to announce when and where their wedding will take place, but it’s sure to be an event to behold when they finally do.
