Did you sit for hours as a child colouring in? When I asked this question in the Starts at 60 office, one of our staff was full of enthusiasm and said how much she loved this book. With a little encouragement, she provided the main image on this page. What great work Emma, thank you!

I've had many careers in my life and loved each one! My new career blossomed when I retired and become an OAP. I am passionate about childhood literacy, books in general and my garden. I love Ballet, Opera, Concerts, Theatre, (both professional and community) and Movies. I tend to have opinions on most things and enjoy a good debate about the topic, not the person. In my thirties, I married my GOM (Gorgeous or Grumpy Old Man) the love of my life.

  1. I colour in occasionally with the littlies but I much prefer to be knitting for them each chance I get, I also do other crafts and find it mentally stimulating as well as physically helping the arthritis in my hands. So I’ll give the colouring a miss.

  2. I spent hours drawing and painting. I saw a wonderful adult coloring book at the art and craft shop yesterday. I am going back to get one ASAP!

    • What a coincidence Philomena ….. my girlfriend pointed them out to me yesterday. I think you’d need really good pencils to colour them in. They were very nice.

  3. My husband bought me a colouring book years ago only because it had Irish wild flowers and information on them. He knew wildflowers are a real passion of mine. It is one of the best presents I have ever received because of the thought behind it.

  4. My latest one.
