A bumper night for plunging dresses 10

The Logies weren’t missing anything on display this year, in fact, if you watched it from where I did, there was almost too much on display all night, with one type of plunging neckline proving a favourite with all the women and clearly all the designers. They looked stunning without fail, but we brought together the best of the plunge for your entertainment this morning. Plunging black dresses that clung to the hips and fishtailed at the bottom seemed to be the primary dress of the night, with a few adaptations, all of which included the plunging neckline again.

We hope you’re giggling a little by the end of this like we were writing it, all for the wonders of fashion.

And, if you missed the ending, we want to remind you of Gold Logie winner Carrie Bickmore’s one request that we all wear a beanie today in the effort to raise awareness of brain cancer. #beanieforbraincancer is the hashtag to tweet your pics to.

Dannii Minogue wore a black sparkly number… with a plunging neckline.

Delta Goodrem wore… a black dress with a plunging neckline.

Carrie Bickmore wore… a silver or white dress… with a plunging neckline.

Samantha Jade wore gold… with a plunging neckline.

Jennifer Hawkins wore black… with a plunging neckline.

Asher Keddie wore… black with a plunging neckline.

Danielle Cormack wore … black with a plunging neckline.

Susie Eleman wore… Black with a plunging neckline.

Kerry-Anne Kennerley… pink with a plunging neckline

And Ita Buttrose… she went in another direction… demure with frills… but in black like everyone else.

  1. I thought that I had joined another time but I am being advised that I had not. Paul

  2. Who tells these women they look nice, ridiculous plunging necklines, or boobs falling out the top, Kate Richie and Kerry-Ann Kennerly (who is getting a bit old for the boob showing bit). Lisa Wilkinson, Lavinia Nixon, Shelly Craft looked lovely without the boobs showing. All the neck plungers can take a note out of their book.

    • My husband & I were watching, & my first words to him were, about their neck lines. Why do we have to see such a lot of breast.. Exibitionists.

  3. Susie Eleman ….really. The young look beautiful. Older just looked fake and botoxed. I want some of that. Te he.

  4. Very lovely ladies…Suzie frightened me though..

  5. I thought Julia Morris looked the best. The dress was very elegant and classy and no plunging neckline!

  6. I thought Ita dressed appropriately for her age – don’t know about the frill thing and although not mentioned lady who used to be David Jones model.
