Four weeks at number one in 1967

This catchy pop song held the number one spot on the Billboard charts for four weeks in 1967.

Originally written by Ruthann Friedman, it encouraged much speculation in regards to who the song was actually written about.

It has been covered five official times over the years but one of the most memorable was by Barry Manilow and the lead singer of this 1960s American pop group.

Can you remember dancing and singing to this song?
