Which decade did you enjoy the most?

Today’s 60-pluses have pretty much seen it all – they did the twist in the 1950s, had Beatlemania in the ’60s, got groovy in the ’70s, permed in the ’80s, and so on. 

Each era had its own sense of fashion and style and brought with it something new and exciting, as well as seeing the end of some favourites.

Which decade did you love the most and why? Was it the fashion, the music, your own life at the time, or was it the age that you felt held the most possibilities for you?
