What pisses me off: Hoarding

Today it’s Sunday and you know what pisses me off today… hoarding.

My husband has just come back from another fishing trip and in the process seems to have gathered even more equipment than ever before. Seriously, how many fishing rods, tents, chairs and eskies does one man need… All this stuff now fills up our garage so that I can’t even get the car in there anymore!

But it doesn’t end there… our downstairs room and spare bedrooms are beginning to fill up again with useless stuff.

Old radios, tvs, furniture, tools and sports equipment, it just goes on and on…

I thought we had tackled this problem… last year after much convincing my husband agreed to do a tidy up and it was great for a couple of months, but slowly but surely the things have started to appear again in our house… Is anyone like me and has a husband or wife that just loves to collect stuff too?

I get it that some things are great to keep, but not to the point when we are starting to loose our living space with endless clutter.

I used to think it was quite endearing, at the weekend markets I would happily wander around the fruit and veg and he would be excited by the trash and treasure section, picking up old records, tools and furniture that was “too good not to let go”.

But you know what, I have hit breaking point, this hoarding just has to stop… starting for today! We are cleaning it all up and this time it is for good!

I’m keen to hear if there is anyone out there has husband or wife who likes to collect junk too?
