Their renditions of Jolene with Dolly Parton, and the Queen hit Bohemian Rhapsody wowed you – and now Pentatonix have done it again.

This time the award winning a capella group is going viral for their haunting rendition of the Bee Gees song Too Much Heaven – and it’s winning over Bee Gees fans on social media.

Their performance of the 1979 hit at the Stayin’ Alive: A Grammy Salute to the Music of the Bee Gees is right up there with the performances by Celine Dion and Keith Urban at the tribute show.

As you would remember Too Much Heaven featured on the Bee Gees 1979 album Spirits Having Flown and it’s not the easiest song in the world to sing.

But the Pentatonix team nailed it, with the performance described as “beautiful”, “astounding” and “soul-piercing”, among other things, by critics.

It earned them a standing ovation from the crowd – and the surviving Bee Gee, Barry Gibb, was the first on his feet.

Stayin’ Alive: A Grammy Salute to the Music of the Bee Gees aired in the US over the weekend and its performances have been talked about and shared around ever since.

It’s set to air on TV in Australia early next month.

Watch the performance by Pentatonix below and tell us what you think.

Wow! What did you think of this performance? Did they do the Bee Gees proud?
