Overall, the number of Australians heading overseas has increased by 2.8 per cent in June according to ABS data.

In New Zealand, Brazil, Colombia, Russia or Norway, the AUD has fallen against the euro by 3 per cent, and 3 per cent against the Norwegian krone. That trip to London may well be off the cards for a while, as the $AU has fallen 12 per cent against the British pound. The best value destination could be Russia – the Aussie dollar has gained 31 per cent against the Russian rouble.
