The astounding cargo loaded onto just one cruise ship!

Royal Caribbean has revealed just how much cargo needs to be loaded onto each cruise ship. They have described the cargo list for Oasis Of The Seas, a large ship which carries around 6,000 passengers throughout Mexico and Central America.

Oasis Of The Seas also houses over 2,100 staff members. It takes around 10 hours to unload, clean and restock the entire cruise liner. This process involves about 25 trucks and countless dock workers, but Royal Caribbean has their cargo list down to a precise art.

Here is the astounding list of items needed on board, for a simple one week itinerary:

– 10,200 rolls of toilet paper
– 3,300 kilograms of cheese
– 330 pineapples
– 1,000 spare light bulbs
– 861 kilograms of coffee
– 87 litres of hand sanitiser
– 5,400 lobster tails
– 21,000 ice cream cones
– 3,900 kilograms of tomato
– 4,000 kilograms of lettuce
– 6,700 potatoes
– 1,100 kilograms of apples
– 2,400 kilograms of bananas
– 47,000 eggs
– 9,900 litres of milk
– 8,900 kilograms of chicken
– 8,000 kilograms of beeg
– 3,200 kilograms of fish
– 10,600 hot dogs
– 31,900 bottles of beer
– 16,900 cans of soft drink
– 820 bottles of vodka
– 3,300 bottles of white wine
– 2,700 bottles of red wine
