While most people entering their 60s are planning their retirement and how they’ll while away the carefree hours, Rowan Atkinson looks set for plenty of midnight wakeup calls and nappy changes.

Multiple British newspapers have reported the Mr Bean actor is set to become a father again at 62.

The English actor is expecting his first child with his girlfriend, actress Louise Ford, who is 29 years his junior.

Atkinson has two children with his ex-wife, 23-year-old son, Ben, and 21-year-old daughter, Lily.

Atkinson and Ford, who is most famous for portraying Kate Middleton in TV program The Windsors, met in 2013 when they appeared together in the play The Quartermaine’s Terms at the Wyndham’s Theatre in London.

The couple are yet to comment on the pregnancy, but Ford was photographed looking heavily pregnant in London at the weekend.

A source told The Mirror the pair are “over the moon” with the news.

Atkinson is just one of many famous men becoming fathers again later in life.

Rolling Stones bandmates Mick Jagger, 74, and Ronnie Wood, 70 both welcomed new babies earlier this year, while Alec Baldwin’s wife is pregnant with their fourth child in four years.

Baldwin, 59, is also the father of 22-year-old Ireland Baldwin.

It’s not just the men getting clucky though. Janet Jackson welcomed her first child this year, at the tender age of 50.

While plenty of joy can come from having children at any age, most people find themselves thinking about becoming grandparents, rather than parents, once they’ve entered their 60s.

What do you think? Could you handle becoming a parent again in your 60s?
