Many people find themselves reaching for the calorific food in times of stress and it looks like Barbra Streisand is no different.
The iconic singer says she’s been putting on weight lately and now she’s placed the blame squarely on one man: Donald Trump.
Streisand took to Twitter saying that she starts the day with the best intentions of healthy eating, but after watching the morning news, she finds herself reaching for the junk.
“Donald Trump is making me gain weight. I start the day with liquids, but after the morning news, I eat pancakes smothered in maple syrup!” she wrote on her social media.

She followed it up with a second tweet a few hours later after Trump accused former president Barack Obama of tapping his phones.
“Trump just accused Obama of tapping his phones. Seriously crazy times. Time for more pancakes,” she wrote.

Streisand has been an outspoken critic of Trump, regularly taking to social media to air her frustrations at his policies and governance.
She joins the likes of fellow musical legend Bette Midler, who has become known for her amusing tweets about the president.
At his press conference, Trump said his wife was “high quality.” He did not, however, say whether she was made of all-natural ingredients.
