Chanco isn’t the first baby to shock the world with her full head of hair — in 2016 a baby girl also made headlines thanks to her impressive locks.

Izzie, as she’s affectionately called by her parents Dave and Mackenzie Kaplan of California, came into the world with a full head of hair. “We were expecting to see a bald head or perhaps a little fluff,” Dave told People at the time. “When she came out with a hair helmet, we couldn’t believe it.”

“The funnest thing about this has just been seeing everybody’s reaction. It’s nice to make everyone smile.” he added.

Izzie’s parents wash her hair twice a week, with specialised baby shampoo. They let her hair air-dry, and would never use beauty products or heating tools to style Isabelle’s locks.
