Today’s Big Question: Have we stopped believing in God?

Jul 05, 2013

These are the big questions where you can have your say. This is an open space for discussion about some very confronting debates in out society. How do you feel? What do you think? These are the real Q&A for the Australian seniors today.

Just because we don’t go to church like we used to, have we stopped believing in God?

FOR. Yes, for a lot of us God isn’t as relevant as when we were young and forced to go to church. Many of us have seen terrible things and it’s hard to believe God still exists. If he does, he may not be listening to us any more.

AGAINST. No, you can still have God in your heart if you don’t go to church. Belief doesn’t depend on a building or a service. Many seniors believe more strongly as we get older….but it’s not practical to get to church every Sunday. It doesn’t change how we feel.

What do you think? Have your say.
