Queenslander serenades Cyclone Debbie with the Blues

It’s not everyday you hear a voice like this! Bowen man Karmon Power has gone viral on social media after sharing his special serenade for Cyclone Debbie as the storm batters the Queensland coast.

Power sings a sultry Blues tune to Debbie accompanied by just his guitar and has won hearts around the country for his efforts.

“All this hype about Cyclone Debbie, thought I’d write a song about her. Stay safe North Queensland,” he wrote on Facebook. “This is for the people sitting around the house with the cyclone blues so share it around.”

Power lives in Bowen which has copped the brunt of the cyclone today.

Since uploading his gorgeous song, Power’s video has been shared thousands of times and received praise from around the world.
