Staff of the London Underground have been sharing powerful messages with commuters in the wake of the terrorist attack on British Parliament yesterday.
Instead of writing the usual delays notices on the boards that sit at the entry way to most tube stations in the city, staff are writing quintessentially British notes that perfectly encapsulate the nation’s response to the attack.
Hundreds of photos have been snapped by commuters overnight, with many taking to social media to share the message.
Some are famous quotes and others are just thoughts staff wanted to share. They range between the powerful and the funny, with Prime Minister Theresa May giving her approval as one was read out in Parliament by an MP.
Love this message from tube staff: "This is London. And whatever you do to us we will drink tea and jolly well carry on." pic.twitter.com/b2mHGaiCe6
