Often when I am working clients here in Brisbane, Australia I hear “but I can’t wear that I am too old !”  But then we show them the outfit, matched with accessories, and it not only removes the fear, it builds confidence.  I’m here to tell you, you can wear that style.  Today I share with you my three top buys of the moment.  Beautiful items, they will work day and night for you as the nights and days get colder.  They are in stores now.

1.Statement Transeasonal Metallic Top – Country Road –Instore & online $79.95

Metallic is always in style – I treat it like a neutral !

My Mother who turns 70 this year bought this recently and is wearing it with everything in her wardrobe.

The high neckline is good as is the sleeve length if you feel a bit conscious about your arms.  You can wear a statement necklace or contrast scarf over the top – just not another metallic.

If you find this a bit loud or daring – tone it down with neutrals – whites, creams, taupe, beige, pale grey etc.

Keep it casual with a white crisp cotton shirt over the top or blazer with blue/black jeans and some great (non-metallic) flats

For a nighttime event pair easily with black, white or grey.
