Dessert fans are in a frenzy after rumours of a potentially soon to be released McDonald’s Caramilk McFlurry began circulating on social media.

Speculation has been growing after a picture of the menu item was leaked to social media and was widely circulated.

The popular fast food chain is yet to confirm the release of the flavour combination.

However, when asked if the Caramilk McFlurry would be released in Australia a McDonald’s spokesperson told 7 News, “We know how much love and excitement there is for our iconic McFlurry,” the spokesperson said.

“We are actively listening to customer feedback and encourage our loyal McFlurry fans to stay tuned for more information.”

The rumours of the delicious team up between cult favourite Caramilk and the Mcflurry began when Brisbane Chef Nick Vavitis shared a picture on his Instagram claiming the desert was on its way to Australia.

He later posted his own version of Caramilk McFlurry in honour of the rumoured announcement.

If confirmed, the Caramilk McFlurry is rumoured to be made available in October.
