The anti-cellulite home remedy getting lots of online attention

The remedy that you can find in your pantry.

Many women, and some men, have cellulite – some don’t mind, others have learned to live with it, and some hate it.

If you’re one of the people who’d like to get rid of the orange peel-like effect on your skin, there is a remedy doing the rounds on the internet that claims to do so.

People posting the natural fix have shared some amazing before and after photos, admittedly after using it for an extended period of time. It’s quick and easy to make, though, and odds are you already have the ingredients in your pantry, so it could be worth a try.

The coffee scrub involves three different foods – coffee, raw sugar, and coconut oil – that promise to invigorate and rejuvenate your skin.

The caffeine in coffee will increase blood flow and have a tightening or toning effect on your skin when applied. Coconut oil softens the skin and will do wonders for hydration and improving the appearance of sagging or wrinkles. Meanwhile, sugar contains certain acids provide additional moisture.

The scrub exfoliates, moisturises and tightens any skin area that it’s applied to. Users recommend applying the scrub can be applied three times a week – it’s best done in the shower as it can be quite messy – to have an impact on stubborn cellulite.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup coffee grounds
  • 3 tablespoons raw sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons of melted coconut oil

Method

  1. Combine ingredients in a container.
  2. Wet areas where scrub will be applied. Massage scrub in circular motions with medium pressure into skin. Spend extra time massaging into cellulite areas. Leave to absorb for 5-10 mins.
  3. Rinse off.
