Reduce skin spots

Aspirin is a fantastic cleanser. Surprisingly, aspirin contains a fat-soluble ingredient found in creams and skin cleansers.

To reduce skin spots, mix seven uncoated aspirin tablets with three tablespoons of yogurt and one tablespoon of honey. Apply the mask and leave for 15 minutes. The facial treatment will reduce scars, prevent clogged pores and leave your skin feeling fresh and smooth.

Treat hard calluses

Aspirin can help soften the soles of your feet by removing dead skin. Shred seven aspirins and add half a tablespoon of lemon juice to form a paste. Apply the mixture on the soles of your feet and cover with a warm cloth. Leave sit for 10 minutes before exfoliating with pumice.

Control dandruff

Dandruff problem? Next time you wash your hair, add two crushed tablets to the normal amount of shampoo you use each time. Leave the mixture on your hair for two minutes, then rinse and shampoo again.

Remove sweat stains from your clothes

These tablets are great at removing sweat stains from clothes. Apply an aspirin pill, dissolved in warm water to the sweat stains and leave overnight. The next morning, wash your clothes as normal.

Lengthen the life of flowers

Interestingly, aspirin can lengthen the life of flowers. Add a crushed tablet of aspirin to the vase water. This trick works especially well for roses, making them last much longer, in better condition – it’s similar to the contents of the little sachets florists often supply with bouquets.

Remove soap scum in the bath tub

To remove soap scum, grind five aspirin tablets and add them to the bath cleaning liquid you usually use. Sprinkle the whole area and leave for 30 minutes, then remove the scum with a cloth. The dirt will come straight off!

Dry up pimples

You may be well past adolescence, but that doesn’t mean immunity from an occasional pimple. Crush one aspirin and wet it with water. Apply the paste to the pimple and let sit for a few minutes, before washing away with warm water. The aspirin will reduce the redness and soothe the sting.
