Melania Trump ensured she made a dramatic appearance for the Super Bowl celebrations this year, and went very patriotic for the annual occasion.

The First Lady, 47, and her husband ignored recent rumours of marriage trouble and put on a united front, as they stood to watch the Florida Atlantic University Marching Band and cheerleaders at Trump International Golf Club in Florida. Stood side by side, the pair flashed big smiles as President Trump gave the crowd a thumbs up.

Melania stole the show once again, but this time she swapped her usual glamour for a new look to mark the occasion. Showing off her figure, she wore tight white jeans and a US-themed jacket. She completed the look with towering blue stiletto heels.

She appeared to be showing her support for the New England Patriots, and was supported by her husband who wore a bright red tie for the appearance.

However, shortly after their loss, Trump himself took to Twitter to congratulate opposing team the Eagles on their victory. He wrote: “Congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles on a great Super Bowl victory!”

The couple were there for the viewing party, and according to the Mail Online, after watching the cheerleaders perform he said: “Thank you so much, that was so great. Great job, great talent, enjoy the game.”

Melania didn’t appear phased by recent wild claims surrounding their marriage, and gave fans a wave outside before heading back in out of the cold. Earlier in the day, the President sent out a powerful message about the Super Bowl celebrations.

He wrote: “As many Americans come together to watch the Super Bowl, Melania and I extend our greetings and appreciation for those who make occasions like this possible, particularly the brave men and women of our Armed Forces.”

He added: “Though many of our Nation’s service members are unable to be home with family and friends to enjoy this evening’s American tradition, they are always in our thoughts and prayers. We owe these heroes the greatest respect for defending our liberty and our American way of life. Their sacrifice is stitched into each star and every stripe of our Star-Spangled Banner. We hold them in our hearts and thank them for our freedom as we proudly stand for the National Anthem.”
