Amal Clooney shimmers in vintage Versace disco dress
Amal Clooney hasn’t had much time to be in the spotlight of late.
Four month old twins Ella and Alexander are sure to be keeping her on her toes, and hubby George Clooney has been busy himself, with his latest movie Suburbicon being launched just last month.
So while 39-year-old Amal has been getting used to being a new mum it’s clear she hasn’t lost her skills in dressing fabulous!
The human rights lawyer had the night off last week while she attended the William Vintage & Farfetch Unveiling of the Gianni Versace Archive in Los Angeles on October 5.
Vintage was obviously the theme, and Amal looked the part, in a glittering gold mesh vintage Versace look herself. She teamed the flapper-style shift dress with strappy gold heels and disco-esque dangly earrings.
There were a few other familiar faces at the event, including former Home and Away star, and mother of three, Isla Fisher.
Maye Musk, the 69-year-old model who was signed as an ambassador for Covergirl, was also there.
While Amal has not spoken to media about what life is like for her as a new mum, George had recently revealed to The Daily Mail that he’d been a bit sleep deprived since their special double arrival on June 6.
“They don’t cry,’ he said, reports The Daily Mail. ‘I cry more than they do. I cry four times a day right now, because I’m so tired. Hey, remember back when you were single, before you didn’t have to worry about keeping people alive? Wasn’t that great?’
