This video says everything about the unbreakable bond between sisters

If you are close to your sister or sisters, you’ll understand exactly what’s behind a video that’s warming hearts all over the internet right now. 

Love What Matters, a site that shares real stories about love, kindness and compassion that users contribute, has published a video of three women, all in their 90s, that shows that for some sisters, the love never fades. You may squabble over toys, and then clothes, as children and teenagers, but as adults you can become best friends of the kind that will always, always be there for each other.

The user who sent in the video to Love What Matters explained that her 97-year-old grandmother had come home to die, and her grandmother’s sisters were caring for her. The video shows a white-haired woman in an adjustable bed, her hair being gently brushed by two other women with equally white hair.

“One sister’s got to take care of another,” one of the ladies doing the brushing says. “So, let’s get her bangs like she wears them, they usually make a roll.”

“That’s better,” the other replies, as she moves on to the hair at the back, while the woman in the bed smiles broadly. “Thanks, Stella,” she says.

The owner of the video says: “When my sisters are old, I will brush their hair and make sure they look pretty, until the very end. My grandma got her wish to have hospice in her own home.”

The video has been viewed more than 33 million times since it was posted on Facebook a week ago, and shared 604,000 times.

Unsurprisingly, commenters are charmed by the video, with plenty relating to the sentiment.

“My sister promised she would pluck any chin, lip or nostril hairs if that time ever came, and I will do the same for her too!!!” one user wrote. “The day before my 80-year-old dad passed, after the hospice nurses bathed him, I call his twin brother and asked if he wanted to shave dad, So, he had shaved dad in ICU,” another recalled.
