Glamorous Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin steal limelight on red carpet

The ever-stylish Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin dressed to impress as they swung by a Netflix event on Saturday.

The 80-year-old actress continues to defy the years with her stunning styles, and this time Fonda chose a simple monochrome pantsuit for the occasion.Showing off her figure, Fonda stood out in the chic ensemble, adding gleaming black belt, which cinched in at her waist.

Wearing her hair in styled curls, she looked a million dollars as she posed with her Grace and Frankie co-star and flashed a beaming smile outside.

Joining her was elegant Tomlin, 78, who’s known for her daring, outrageous style. Following those rules perfectly, she stood out in a pink sequinned blouse and powder pink trousers.

Opting for full comfort, she added white sneakers to the ensemble, and proved a complete natural as she posed alongside her glamorous pal. To top off the look, the actress wore a pair of hot-pink sunglasses.

While on the red carpet, Fonda and Tomlin posed with their co-stars Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston, and with the show’s creators Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris. The two women play rivals who find comfort in each other after their husbands fall in love with each other and decide they want to get married.

Last month, at the premiere of Fonda’s new film Book Club — which sees her and fellow actresses Diane Keaton, Candice Bergen and Mary Steenburgen experience a sexual awakening after their book club reads Fifty Shades of Grey — Fonda was asked by Extra about her dating status.

“I’m not dating anymore, but I did up until a couple of years ago,” Fonda told Extra.“I’m 80,” she added. “I’ve closed up shop down there!”
Looking youthful and incredibly bright, Fonda, shone at the premier in a vibrant pink outfit perfect for standing out on the red carpet. Her two-piece suit clung to her figure, and she added a loose, flowing halter-neck top to match.

Speaking about the film, Fonda added: “It’s about very important things: friendship and sex. And that it’s okay for older women to have both”.
