Michelle Obama reveals what we never noticed about Barack

Michelle Obama says there is an unfair focus on female fashion when it comes to swanky events, and not wearing the same thing twice.

While talking at Apple’s developer’s conference in the US on Tuesday the former first lady admitted to having been criticised over her state dinner gowns.

To prove her point she said Barack wore the same tuxedo during his entire presidency and no one even noticed, let alone criticised him.

“You talk about Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, no matter what we do, he puts on that same tux. Now, people take pictures of the shoes I wear, the bracelets, the necklace,” Michelle Obama said. “They didn’t comment that for eight years he wore that same tux. He was proud of it too. He’s like, ‘Mm, I’m ready. I’m ready in 10 minutes. Mm, how long did it take you?’ And I’m like, ‘Get out of here’.”

The fashion focus doesn’t just fall on her as first lady.

Melania’s fashion choices have been regular headlines since she took over the first lady role.

To be fair, US president Donald Trump has gained the attention, and ire, of fashion fans around the world too, but more for the interest in his hair than his tuxedo.

Do you care if a celebrity is wearing the same thing more than once?
