Dolly to team up with duet partner Kenny Rogers one last time

Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers are two of the biggest names in country, and have shared the stage many times before.

Like all good things, they must come to an end. With Kenny Rogers signing off from performing the pair have announced they will perform together one last time.

Rogers has planned the final concert of all concerts at Nashville, as a tribute to his career. Set for October 25, Parton will join him on stage for the show titled All in for the Gambler.

It seems the pair are already reminiscing their joint careers, both posting flashback images on their Instagram accounts.

Rogers, with twenty-four number-one hits, is a six-time CMA Awards winner, Country Music Hall of Fame, three-time GRAMMY Award winner, a recipient of the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2013 CMAs. He was voted the favourite singer of all time in a joint poll by readers of both USA Today and People. 

Parton is not the only singer who will be joining Rogers for his finale. Other artists include Little Big Town, Elle King and the Flaming Lips. More acts are expected to be announced soon.

The good news for fans, the performance will be recorded to be broadcast at a later date.
