Barbra Streisand has put on a fiery display at the Tribecca Film Festival, lighting up the red carpet and dishing out some hard truths about Hollywood and sexism.
The 75-year-old looked stunning as she posed for photographers at the event, wearing a black pant suit complete with peep-toe heels and a black choker.
She had her blonde hair straight and her attitude high, answering questions in her classic brash no-nonsense style.
While talking about her past achievements, she said sexism cost her Oscar awards for her work as a director on critically acclaimed films Yentl and The Prince of Tides and that older women didn’t want to see her succeed in that way.
“There were a lot of older people – they don’t want to see a woman director,” she said.
“I don’t know how many women wanted to see a woman director,” she added.
While Barbra has won awards for her acting, it appears she’s not done yet and would love to be recognised for her hard work as a director.
