Ingredients

  • 3 slices white bread, crusts removed, roughly chopped
  • 1kg turkey mince
  • 3 green onions, finely sliced
  • 1/2 cup whole cranberry sauce
  • 75g camembert cheese, finely chopped
  • 4 sheets frozen ready-rolled puff pastry, partially thawed
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease 2 baking trays. Add bread to bowl. Drizzle 1/4 cup water over the top. Let stand for 3 minutes. Drain excess liquid. Squeeze water from bread using hands.
  2. Add bread, mince, onions, cranberry sauce, camembert, and salt and pepper together in a large bowl. Mix all ingredients well to combine.
  3. Cut each pastry sheet in half to make 8 rectangles. Spoon even amounts of turkey mixture along 1 long edge of pastry. Brush opposite edge with water. Roll pastry up and use fingers to seal closed. Cut each roll into 5 smaller rolls. Using a sharp knife, gently score the tops of each roll. Transfer to tray.
  4. Brush each roll generously with egg. Sprinkle with sea salt flakes and pepper. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until tops are golden and filling is cooked through. Serve.
