If you’ve been invited an Easter lunch and you’re stuck on what sweet treats to bring that haven’t already been made a million times before, then try these cute chocolate nests. Not only will the novelty sweets be a hit with any kids in attendance, but the delicious mix of peanut butter and melted milk chocolate will also have the adults coming back for more.
You can also try a mixture of flavours by substituting milk chocolate with white or dark for varying tastes.
Ingredients
- 200g milk chocolate melts
- 2 tbsp crunchy peanut butter
- 100g packet fried noodles
- 125g packet candy coated mini chocolate easter eggs
Method
- Grease a 12-hole round based patty pan. Line each individual hole with baking paper.
- Place a heatproof bowl over gently simmering water. Combine chocolate and peanut butter in bowl and slowly melt. Stir occasionally until a smooth mixture forms. Remove from heat. Add noodles to bowl and stir to generously coat the noodles in chocolate mixture.
- Spoon the noodle mixture evenly into the prepared holes. Using the back of a spoon press gently down on the top of the mixture to mould into a nest shape where the chocolates will sit. Refrigerate for 30 minutes until set.
- Gently remove each nest from the baking paper. Top each nest with three eggs. Serve.
