Love Child stars share fun rendition of much loved musical song
Dan Hamill and Andy Ryan are best known for their roles on Love Child, currently showing on Channel Nine.
Andy, who plays Simon Bowditch, has been in the show since season two, his character now married to Martha, played by Miranda Tapsell. He played Andrew Farris in the INXS miniseries but would love to play his music idol John Farnham.
But fans of X Factor will know that Dan has some musical talent too. He made it to the top 12 in X Factor in 2015 but also was in the 2004 show Popstars. He is now playing Dr Pattinson in the fourth season of Love Child, in his first major role.
Talking to The Daily Telegraph earlier this year Dan said his character was a cheeky Vietnam veteran who fights for women’s lib in a time where men really didn’t. “I’ve done a lot of guesties but this is my first major role and I am having a ball. It is a weird progression with how it has all come about but I am really happy.
It seems they are both become great mates, teasing each other in this funny video Dan posted on his Instagram account.
This rendition of Beauty and the Beast was recorded while they were filming the hit tv show.
