An 80-year-old British woman left viewers speechless this week when she revealed some very graphic details about her sex life with her 35-year-old toyboy during a live TV interview.

Iris Jones, from Weston-super-Mare, appeared on British breakfast program This Morning on Tuesday to discuss her relationship with Mohamed Ahmed Irbriham, who lives in Cairo. The pair met on Facebook last year and the pensioner said they connected “on an intellectual level” after realising they shared a number of interests.

However, as Iris opened up about her feelings for Mohamed, it didn’t take long for the conversation to take a rather X-rated turn as she divulged the details of her first sexual encounter with her Egyptian lover, leaving presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby speechless.

“The first night, pretty rough … it was rough,” she laughed. “Nobody had been near me for 35 years. I thought I was a virgin again.”

As Holly and Phil visibly cracked up at the X-rated revelations, Iris went on: “Can I say what we used? A whole tube of KY Jelly. The thing is, I couldn’t walk the next day … I felt as if I’d been riding a horse. Saddle sore wasn’t in it!”

The couple began their relationship by chatting online however, after just 15 days, Mohamed proposed to Iris. But, admitting she thought her beau was “out of his mind”, the retired cleaner rejected the marriage proposal.

She said: “He proposed after 15 days and I said ‘You are absolutely mad how can you have feelings for someone you’ve never even met, someone 45 years your senior. You’re out of your mind’.”

However the pair then began video chatting and Iris said it was then that she developed real feelings for him and soon after she made the journey to Cairo to meet Mohamed in the flesh. She has since met his parents – who are younger than she is – and said they have accepted her after seeing how happy she has made their son.

Host Phillip went on to ask Iris if she was worried that she might be being scammed, to which she replied: “Lots of people warned me about that, my sons, friends, but I knew from the conversations we had he was very, very genuine and he knew I was genuine.”

The couple are now planning to get married, with Iris insisting that Mohamed will sign a pre-nup.

As he is still living in Egypt, the 35-year-old engineer also sent a message to the ITV program, which Phillip read out on air. Mohamed said: “I love Iris to the point of madness … Love knows no barriers and I do not care about people’s opinions. Our love will win in the end because it is true love. Please support us.”

Following the televised interview on Tuesday morning, people went wild for Iris on social media, praising the woman for her openness and even calling for her to “be made a Dame”.

One Twitter user wrote: “Omg what a woman, she’s brilliant … She’s living her life how she wants and it’s inspiring.” Another said: “Wish you every happiness lovely lady.”

While another commented: “This made my bloody day … so funny bless her. I say good for her. You get it Iris if you can.”

However others echoed the concerns of Iris’ sons and questioned whether Mohamed could have ulterior motives for initiating the relationship. One wrote: “I don’t think it’s funny at all, she’s an elderly woman who has been paraded on television for the titillation of the viewers. She’s clearly deluded……if not then why marry him, just enjoy the relationship without giving him the opportunity to gain a passport!”

Another said: “I’m pleased that she’s getting her leg over after all these years. Good for her but for goodness sake don’t marry him or let him have anything to do with your finances!”
