Starts at 60 wouldn’t usually cover young pop stars or music bands, but we couldn’t let this one go – and it’s taken the world by storm in a matter of hours.

While it seems like young and emerging musicians are releasing new videos almost daily – making the most of special effects and pricey props – one world famous singer has made his new song very much the back drop of his new video, instead focusing on another incredible story.

The footage shows One Direction star Louis Tomlinson meeting 83-year-old widower Richard to hear about his biggest bucket list dreams, after losing his wife to Alzheimer’s disease. Sadly, she died in the same month that Louis himself lost his mum to cancer.

The pair become unlikely friends and the cameras follow them as they discuss their mutual grief and Richard’s biggest wishes – with Louis’ song ‘Two Of Us’ playing in the background.

Richard explains he’s led an exciting life working as a taxi driver, actor, as well as being in the RAF, but there are still a few things he wants to tick off – including having a helicopter flying lesson, driving a racing car, having a tattoo and riding a roller coaster.

They casually tick each of them off one by one, with Richard laughing and smiling throughout, clearly over the moon at every moment. When it comes to him getting a tattoo, the pair swap roles briefly and he instead gives Louis one to add to his extensive collection.

But perhaps the most amazing moment comes towards the end when Richard attends one of his new friend’s sell-out concerts, before getting invited on stage to join him.

At this point, Louis explains that while he knows Richard used to sing, he’s never actually heard him perform himself. However, he completely blows the young star away as he launches into an incredible opera performance in front of the crowd.

Taking to social media to announce the video, Louis explained: “A month or so ago I met an amazing man called Richard. He had a few things he wanted to do so I thought I’d help him out.

“This video feels particularly relevant and powerful to me. I hope you enjoy watching this video as much as I did making it. Loads of love, Louis.”
