Princess Catherine hard at work as she plans for highly anticipated Christmas project

It has been an exciting month for Princess Catherine and the beloved royal shows no signs of slowing down. Though she just returned to work only recently, she has already started planning for a special project to be held at the end of the year.

With Christmas fast approaching, the Princess recently hosted a meeting at Windsor Castle to discuss her annual royal Christmas carols held in Westminster Abbey, a festive extravaganza that has royal watchers eagerly counting down the days to the big event.

Catherine, members of her staff and representatives from the Royal Foundation met at Windsor Castle to plan the event, which she has hosted for the last four years.

This year’s event is titled Royal Carols: Together At Christmas and will be televised by ITV on Christmas Eve in the UK.

Catherine’s Christmas carols has always been a highly anticipated event on the royal calendar. In years past, Princess Catherine has transformed the Christmas carol concert into a poignant tribute, honouring the memory of the late Queen Elizabeth and shining a spotlight on the unsung heroes who tirelessly navigated the challenges of the global pandemic.

In 2021, Catherine surprised those in attendance with her very first public performance on the piano, playing For Those Who Can’t Be Here with Scottish singer Tom Walker for the carols event.

People reported that Catherine had found great solace and “comfort” in playing the piano, particularly during the pandemic, as she used to play as a child.

The meeting to plan this year’s carols was recorded in the Court Circular and marks the second time Catherine was mentioned in the Royal Family’s official engagement records recently.

Shortly after announcing that she had finished her preventative course of chemotherapy, Catherine held a meeting at Windsor Castle to discuss a cause close to her heart, the early years development of children.

She was joined by her household team and staff from the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, an organisation she established to promote the importance of early years development and conduct research

Catherine’s return to work comes after she shared the good news of her health battle in a heartfelt message on social media, accompanied by a video featuring her, her husband, and their three young children: Prince George, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte.

It’s been a long road for Princess Catherine, not only to reach a significant milestone in her health journey but also to return to her royal duties and engage in projects close to her heart.

Catherine stepped away from the spotlight following a two-week hospital stay in January after she underwent major abdominal surgery.

She later revealed, in an emotional video message, that she had been diagnosed with cancer and would be taking time away as she underwent treatment.

Following a prolonged absence from the public eye, Catherine eased concerns for her well-being in June when she announced that she was “making good progress” in her cancer battle and would be attending this year’s Trooping the Colour.

Her return to public life was met with an outpouring of support and admiration. Catherine’s appearance at Trooping the Colour garnered overwhelming fanfare, and she was warmly welcomed with a standing ovation upon her arrival at this year’s Wimbledon tournament.
