While the world is still buzzing with excitement the fact that Prince Harry is getting married to actress Meghan Markle, details of their upcoming wedding have been revealed.
As tabloid magazines and gossip websites have been speculating exactly what will happen on the big day, Kensington Palace has released a statement with some important details.
Firstly, the all-important wedding date. While a specific date has not yet been revealed, it has been confirmed that the happy couple will wed in May.
“The marriage of His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales and Ms. Meghan Markle will take place at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle in May, 2018,” the statement read.

While rumours circulated that British taxpayers would have to fund the lavish nuptials, Kensington Palace also revealed that this wasn’t true.
“The Royal Family will pay for the wedding,” the statement said.

It was also revealed that Queen Elizabeth II was involved in choosing the location.
“Her Majesty The Queen has granted permission for the wedding to take place at the Chapel.”
They also hinted that more details would be available soon.
The Palace had only previous specified that it would be a Spring wedding.

It’s been a big couple of days for Prince Harry and his future wife.
News broke on Monday evening of their engagement, with social media going into meltdown.
In their first TV interview, the couple revealed just how the proposal happened.
Speaking to BBC’s Mishal Husain, the pair recounted the night.
“It was just your standard, typical for us,” Prince Harry said.

Ms Markle added: “It was just a cosy night. What were we doing? Just roasting chicken.
“It was just an amazing surprise. It was so sweet and natural and very romantic.”
They were spotted looking loved up at their first photocall yesterday, with further public appearances expected to be announced soon.
