Princess Charlotte is arguably one of the most adorable royal offspring, and while she shares features with her parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, eagle-eyed royal fans have pointed out that the young royal shares a striking resemblance to her late grandmother, Princess Diana.

After sharing a video of his 7-year-old daughter wishing the Lionesses good luck ahead of their Euro 2022 champions, royal watchers couldn’t help but point out Charlotte’s likeness to Diana.

One commented: “Charlotte is starting to look just like Princess Diana.”

Another said: “Princess Charlotte = Princess Diana’s looks + Kate’s idiosyncrasy.”

“Awww Princess Charlotte is sooo cute! Her little voice! And wow, she looks like William, Catherine and Diana at the same time! Her smile is all Diana,” wrote a third.

This isn’t the first time Charlotte’s been compared to her late grandmother. Over the years royal fans have remarked on some notable similarities between the lookalike grandmother-grandaughter duo, specifically pointing out that Charlottes’s nose, eyes and cheeky smile were that of Diana’s.

Looks aside, Charlotte’s mannerisms have also previously stood out to fans. Already a force to be reckoned with, Princess Charlotte clearly has no issues putting her brothers in place.

During this year’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations Charlotte was quick to discreetly correct her older brother, Prince George, 9, on the proper posture while singing the British National Anthem.

A few days later, Charlotte was seen trying to keep a misbehaving Prince Louis in his seat as the family attended the Jubilee Pageant.

More recently though, Princess Charlotte proved she was well prepared for royal service while attending the Commonwealth Games alongside her parents.

After an emotional day watching the men’s 1500-metre swim meet, the royal trio made their way to SportsAid House to visit the charity Kate has been a patron of since 2013.

Charlotte met a number of athletes and was seen emulating her parent’s actions as she engaged with members of Team England.

Charlotte’s attendance at the Commonwealth Games marks the first time she has accompanied her parents on a solo royal engagement, while her brother George has appeared at a number of sporting events with his parents after recently having made his Wimbledon debut last month.
