When it comes to regal fashion, Crown Princess Mary never misses, proving once again she is the ultimate style queen as she attended the Carlsberg Foundation Research Awards Ceremony in Copenhagen.

The 50-year-old Tassie-born royal turned heads as she arrived at the ceremony in a red-laced frock by Collette Dinnigan.

Mary looked stunning as the dress perfectly hugged her fit figure. It featured capped sleeves and fell just above Mary’s ankles, where the Princess opted to wear silver heels.

For accessories, Mary kept things simple with silver hooped earrings and a gold bracelet. She completed her look with a golden snake-skinned clutch.

The mother-of-four also kept her make-up look minimal, choosing only light pink blush and pink lipstick.

Many eagle-eyed royal fans were also quick to point out that this is the same red dress Mary had previously worn when she attended Princess Madeleine of Sweden’s wedding in 2013, with a few alterations.

“She looks amazing. That colour suits her so well. Love the fact she up-cycles her clothes. Adore those shoes. Just stunning,” one fan wrote.

“Loving the modified dress and the fierce shoes. Bravo Mary!”

“She is always engaged in her official duties; gives of herself wholeheartedly.”

“To die for. Love how Mary has reworked this dress. The shoes are amazing. It’s a win!!”

“Gorgeous as usual. I love the long version with the cape she wore for the wedding of Princess Madeleine in 2013 and I love this reworked short version! Mary stays the Queen of recycling, reworking and rewearing pieces. She’s proof that you can go shopping in your closet and don’t need a new outfit for every event! Now, this dress has new life and is more versatile!”

It’s been a hectic few weeks for Princess Mary with her royal calendar well and truly jam-packed. She recently visited Greenland to attend the WWF World Nature Foundation and competed in a “royal race” against her husband Crown Prince Frederik at the Rockwool Denmark Sailing GrandPrix.

Mary was totally at home on the water as she maneuvered her team to victory, beating her husband and team Denmark on the chilly waters of Oresund in Copenhagen.

Mary is scheduled to attend the UN General Assembly later this year in New York and may even bump into Prince William who will also be in the US at the same time for his upcoming Earthshot Summit.
