Duke and Duchess of Cambridge steal the show at ‘Top Gun’ premiere

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have stolen the show at the recent Top Gun Premiere in London on May 19, 2022.

The royal couple arrived at the esteemed event looking the picture of class and sophistication as they donned coordinated black and white attire and mingled with A grade celebrities from the upcoming Top Gun sequel, Maverick, including Tom Cruise, Jennifer Connolly, and Miles Teller.

The Duchess could have passed for a top model as she dazzled onlookers in a figure hugging black and white off the shoulder dress, showing off her incredibly toned body and stunning curves. As revealed by Hello!, the dress was designed by French fashion designer brand Roland Mouret.

Kate wore her luscious long looks down and tucked behind her ears, pairing the understated hairstyle with gorgeous Robinson Pelham 14ct gold double-star drop earrings and a simple black and gold clutch.

William on the other hand, opted for a tailored dark navy velvet suit jacket paired with matching velvet point shoes, a pressed white undershirt, and flattering dress pants. The Duke finished the outfit with a handsome bow tie and a white handkerchief tucked into his left suit pocket.

But the royal couple’s outfits aren’t the only thing that got fans talking, or should we say, fawning, after The Duchess was pictured sharing an ultra sweet moment with the esteemed actor and Top Gun lead, Tom Cruise.

Cruise, dressed in a dapper black and white suit, was pictured holding Kate’s hand as he guided her down the red carpet to meet his co-stars in the most gentleman-like fashion.

William and Kate were also pictured sharing touching interactions with a number of the new film’s high-class celebrities including Miles Teller, Jennifer Connolly, Jon Hamm, Greg Tarzan Davies, Glen Powell, Jay Ellis, Danny Ramirez, Lewis Pullman and esteemed producer, Jerry Bruckheimer.

According to Hello!, the couple were “welcomed to the premiere by Lord Lieutenant Sir Kenneath Olisa, Cameron Saunders, Acting Chair of The Film and TV Charity and Alex Pumfrey, the organisation’s CEO”.

The couple also had the privileged of meeting Maverick’s director Joseph Kosinski, screenwriter and producer Christopher Macquarie and the film’s producer, David Ellison, amongst important film members.

Maverick, the sequel film to the original 1986 hit film Top Gun, will be released in Australian cinemas from May, 25, 2022, with the film already receiving outstanding reviews from film critics.
