Crown Princess Mary may be the future Queen of Denmark but she’ll always be an Aussie girl at heart.
Arguably one of the most fashionable royal style icons, Princess Mary delighted eagle-eyed Australian fashion fans when they noticed that the Crown Princess paid tribute to her home country as she attended the civil wedding of Prince Gustav of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and American Author, Carina Axelsson, wearing a floral Zimmermann number.

The Tassie-born mother of four looked stunning in the cream, floral-print, eyelet midi dress as she was snapped smiling alongside the newlyweds.
Keeping things classy as always, Princess Mary wore her light brown hair in a charming bun and opted for a natural look of pale pink blush, light neutral lipstick, and subtle brown eyeshadow.

To complete her look, Princess Mary wore pink peeped toe high heels, pale pink drop pearl earrings, and a gold bracelet.
Fans of the Danish Princess may have also realised that this is the second time the Princess has worn this Zimmerman dress, as she had previously worn the frock when she and her husband visited Seoul, South Korea in May of this year.
It appears that the luxury designer is also loved by another Royal family, as avid royal-watchers may have noticed that Queen Elizabeth II’s granddaughter, Zara Tindall, wore the exact same Zimmerman dress to Her Majesty’s Platinum Pageant on Sunday, June 5.
Fans now hoping to purchase the dress will be faced with disappointment as the floral number is almost entirely sold out online.
Princess Mary’s love for Aussie made fashion is no secret.
Earlier this year in April, Princess Mary surprised her fans when she was spotted back on Australian soil, after visiting friends and doing a spot of shopping in Melbourne.
The royal was spotted visiting a number of high-end retail stores in the Melbourne suburb of Brighton alongside her friend and former bridesmaid Amber Petty.
However, her recent floral ensemble is a stark contrast to the form-fitting sportswear she wore a day after she attended the royal nuptials, as she and her family competed at the Royal Run in Kolding, Denmark on Monday, June 5.

Looking incredibly fit, the 50-year-old donned grey sneakers, and a matching grey Underarmour cap and kept her locks into an effortless ponytail, as she and her family ran the 1.6-kilometre competition and mingled with the crowd.
