Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, has surprised children at a primary school in north London with one very special item.
During her visit to the Lavender Primary School in Enfield Town, England on Tuesday, the 37-year-old joined in a game of show-and-tell — bringing along a photograph of her family.
The photo featured Catherine, Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. It also appeared to be the same snapshot the royals used for their annual Christmas card this past year.

The exercise was part of an initiative for Children’s Mental Health Week. According to Kensington Palace, the theme of this year’s Children Mental Health Week is “Healthy: Inside and Out,” which focuses on the connection between physical and mental health.
Catherine looked stunning as she stepped out in a bright green for the occasion, opting for a long sleeve knee-length dress from London-based designer Eponine. She paired the outfit with a Mulberry clutch, black tights, and chic black lace-up ankle boots.

Catherine sat in on two lessons at the school and watched the students take part in the Daily Mile challenge, which encourages kids to be active. She then met parents to hear their stories of the various parenting challenges they face and how they have managed to keep them and their children healthy.
The duchess also had a chance to say hello to the school’s dog, little Herbie.

Later in the day, Catherine also visited Alperton Community School where she met Andria Zafirakou the UK’s first winner of the Varkey Foundation Global Teacher Prize. The duchess also found out more about how the school supports pupils and teachers, as well as joining a roundtable discussion about teacher wellbeing.
Catherine is the patron of Place2Be and has made young people’s mental health a key part of her philanthropic work. Place2Be provides emotional and therapeutic services in primary and secondary schools, building children’s resilience through talking, creative work and play.
She also has a mental health charity with her husband Prince William and brother-in-law Prince Harry named Heads Together, which fights to end the stigma against mental health issues.
