Streaming service Netflix has again cast the perfect person, with Elizabeth Debicki taking on the role of Princess Diana for season five of the hit series, The Crown.
Complex, but stunning, Debicki is indistinguishable from Diana herself, in pictures released by Netflix.

In the images, Debicki is seen alongside Dominic West playing Prince Charles. Debicki looks almost identical to the late Princess, with every aspect of her styled perfectly to match Diana’s style on the infamous trip to Italy, taken to celebrate the Royal couple’s 10-year wedding anniversary.

Wearing a stunning floral dress, black sunglasses, and stylish gold hoops, Debicki looks exactly as Diana did; with all the beauty, style and grace.

Even when walking, Debicki mimics the poise, grace and elegance of Diana.

The Crown‘s casting director, Nina Gold, has really outdone herself on this one. The fifth season of the award-winning show will cover the marriage breakdown of Diana and Charles, and Diana’s untimely death.

Others joining the Season 5 cast include Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II. Staunton will be taking over from Olivia Colman, who was recently awarded an Emmy for Lead Actress In A Drama at the 73rd Emmys.

Both Staunton and Colman resemble Queen Elizabeth II quite unbelievably.

Staunton recently recorded a short video prefacing her performance, and thanking both Colman and her predecessor Claire Foy for their hard work in upholding such a dignified role.

Staunton also shares that the fifth instalment of The Crown will air in November 2022.
