Australia is home to some of the most stylish celebrities in the world, and now a few have come out top in the style stakes, thanks to their endless wardrobes and keen eye for fashion.

Harper’s Bazaar Australia named everyone from TV presenter Lisa Wilkinson, to Princess Mary and actress Cate Blanchett in its top 20. And it doesn’t stop with celebs, as politician Julie Bishop also made the list, the Mail Online reports.
With modern styles from fashion designer Carla Zampatti, to elegant ball gowns from the likes of Mary and Lara Worthington, there have been some incredible displays on red carpets right across the world. The Project host Wilkinson, 58, has been central in the limelight over the past few months thanks to her high profile move from Today, following a dispute over a pay gap with her co-host. She has joined some of the biggest names in the industry at a series of events and public appearances, showing off her timeless style.

Just a few weeks ago, she stunned in a billowing green summer dress and towering platform shoes at a product launch for Vitaco Health in Sydney. And it’s not the only colourful item she’s unveiled to her fans, as she wowed in a bright red floor-length number at the end of last year, at the inaugural Fred Hollows gala dinner in Los Angeles.
She strutted the red carpet and took to the stage in a stunning red Capellazzo gown that showed off her glowing complexion.
Back in October, she renewed her wedding vows with her husband Peter, and looked incredible in a bridal white floor-length dress for the ceremony – 25 years after the first tied the knot.

Elsewhere, she had some strong competition from Princess Mary, who has once again proved she’s a leading figure in both fashion and royalty.
Thanks to the Danish Royals’ Instagram page, fans have been kept up to date with her outfits and outings as they happen – and there have been some stunners. She’s known for her varied looks, and earlier that month she chose a black and white floral strapless number, as she joined her husband for a glitzy function. This outfit got an outpouring of love from fans, as one commented: “Gorgeous couple! Love Mary’s gown!!!”
Another added: “Absolutely stunning,” and one wrote: “Fantastic beautiful and present couple ready to take over the throne.”

Politician Julie Bishop, 61, made the winners list thanks to her timeless style and youthful looks at glamorous events over the last year. Australia’s highest-ranking female politician attended the star-studded G’Day USA event in Los Angeles just a few weeks ago, and completely stole the show.

She posed alongside some of Australia’s biggest stars, including Olivia Newton-John, and later took to the stage to deliver the keynote address for the evening.
The annual event is held in Los Angeles every year and is hosted by the Australian government. It celebrates Australia’s culture, art and contribution to the world.

Meanwhile, she shared a photo of herself and partner David Panton at the Great Hall in Parliament House in June last year, before they headed inside for an evening of champagne and the finest food Canberra has to offer.
Wearing a tasselled white and lilac dress with jewels right across the front, she dazzled with a daring plunging neckline alongside her partner. she kept her hair swept to the side, and carried a matching clutch bag for the event.
